Questions we get asked +

Which Symbiose shampoo should I use?
Bain Pureté Anti-Pelliculaire is for flakes with an oily scalp. Bain Crème Anti-Pelliculaire is for flakes with a dry or sensitive scalp. Choose based on how your scalp feels a day after washing. Our Symbiose guide explains the range.

How do I use the Symbiose night serum?
Apply the Sérum Nuit Anti-Pelliculaire Intensif to a dry scalp in the evening, parting your hair in sections. Massage it in and leave it overnight. It's a leave-on step, so don't rinse it out. Use it alongside one of the Symbiose shampoos, following the timing on the pack.

What is the Symbiose Micro Peeling Cellulaire?
It's a scalp exfoliator used before shampooing. Apply to a wet scalp, massage gently, then rinse and wash with your Symbiose shampoo. Once a week is plenty. Don't scrub harder than you need to, especially if your scalp is sensitive.

Is there a Symbiose conditioner?
There isn't one in our Symbiose range. Use your usual conditioner on the lengths only and keep it off the scalp. If your lengths are dry, a mask once a week is fine. The key is keeping heavy products away from the roots.

What's the difference between Symbiose and Spécifique?
Symbiose is Kérastase's dandruff range, for scalps with visible flakes. Spécifique is for scalps that are oily or sensitive without flaking. If flaking is persistent, sore or spreading, or doesn't settle after a few weeks, see a GP or dermatologist. Our itchy, flaky scalp guide has more.
