Questions we get asked +

What's the best routine for curly or wavy hair?
Wash with Curl Manifesto Bain Hydratation Douceur and condition with Fondant Hydratation Essentielle, or the Masque Beurre Haute Nutrition once a week. On soaking-wet hair, rake through Crème de Jour Fondamentale, then scrunch and air-dry or diffuse. Our curly and wavy hair guide goes deeper.

Should I use Flex Waves or Flex Curl Bounce?
Flex Waves is for looser waves, or for creating a beachy shape in straighter hair. Flex Curl Bounce is for natural curls that need definition and spring. If you're somewhere in between, try Flex Waves first, as it's lighter. Either can go on top of the Curl Manifesto cream for more hold.

How do I refresh curls on day two or three?
Mist Curl Manifesto Refresh Absolu over dry curls, then scrunch or twist any sections that have dropped. It helps bring back shape and calm frizz without a full wash. For flatter spots, dampen them slightly first. Most curly clients we see can stretch to three or four days between washes with this.

How often should curly hair use a mask?
Once a week is a good base. The Masque Beurre Haute Nutrition is rich, so it suits curls that feel dry or frizzy. Use it in place of the conditioner and leave it a few minutes before rinsing. If your curls feel heavy or lose shape, go to once a fortnight. For a deeper look at the range, read our Curl Manifesto guide.

Will this routine weigh down fine waves?
It can if you use too much. With fine waves, use the Fondant rather than the mask most of the time, and only a small amount of the Crème de Jour. Flex Waves gives hold without much weight. Apply styling products to wet hair and let it dry before touching it, which helps avoid frizz.
