What's the difference between the purple and blue Vitamino Color shampoos?

Purple neutralises yellow, so it's for blondes, highlights and grey hair that's gone brassy. Blue neutralises orange, so it suits brunettes and lightened brown hair that's turned warm. How long should I leave purple shampoo on?

Start with a minute or two the first time and see how your hair takes it. Very light or porous blonde can grab the pigment and look lilac if it's left too long. If the yellow is still there, add time gradually on the next wash. Follow with the Spectrum Conditioner or Mask, because toning shampoos can leave hair feeling a little dry.

It's a leave-in for colour-treated hair.
