Questions we get asked +

Should I use the Golden Mask or the Absolut Repair Masque?
The Gold Quinoa Golden Mask is the lighter one, so it suits fine to medium hair that needs repair without weight. The Masque 250ml is richer and better for thick, coarse or very dry hair. Both go on after shampoo, through the lengths and ends. If fine hair feels heavy or flat after the Masque, switch to the Golden one.

How do I use the Absolut Repair Oil 10-in-1?
Use a pump or two on towel-dried hair before blow-drying, then a tiny amount on dry ends to smooth and add shine. Keep it off your roots, especially if your hair is fine. It's a good finishing step after the shampoo and conditioner rather than a replacement for them.

How is Absolut Repair different from Absolut Repair Molecular?
Absolut Repair is the original range for dry, damaged hair, with a focus on softness and shine. Absolut Repair Molecular is newer and aimed at hair that's been seriously sensitised by repeated lightening, chemical work and heat. If your hair is dry but holding up, the original is often enough. We compare them properly in Absolut Repair vs Molecular.

How often should I use the Absolut Repair mask?
Once or twice a week in place of the conditioner is a good starting point. Leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse well. On the other washes, the Absolut Repair Conditioner keeps things soft. If your ends are very damaged you can use the mask every wash for a couple of weeks, then ease back.

Is the Absolut Repair Shampoo Refill the same formula?
Yes, the 500ml refill is the same Absolut Repair Shampoo as the 300ml bottle. It's a good option if you already have a bottle and want to keep using it. Our Absolut Repair guide covers the whole range if you're putting a routine together.
